jump in. Let's go to Galatians chapter 5. Look here in verse number 19. This is Paul the apostle writing

to a church in a city named Galatia. This group of people have left the law. They have left the

Jewish practice and they are now under the canopy of grace.

They are now under the Jesus umbrella.

Watch what he says here in Galatians 5 verse 19.

He says the acts of the flesh are obvious.

Isn't that so true?

It's just obvious when you're in the flesh.

You ever talk to somebody and just like, oh, you are being a Karen, you are in the flesh

right now.

It's a cultural reference for you right now.

If you're a Karen or you're part of our church, that wasn't at you.

The acts of the flesh are obvious.

Sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery, idolatry, and witchcraft, hatred and discord,

and jealousy, and fits of rage.

Now, when I start reading this part, I'm like, you're describing my children right now.

Fits of her selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, envy, drunkenness,

orgies, and the like. He basically says, et cetera, et cetera. He's talking about the acts of the flesh.

He lists the dirty dozen, and they're just going, it's not limited to this,

it's just, et cetera, and the like. When you're in the flesh, you're just like, he's just trying

to color in what culture looks like. Debuttery and drunkenness and all kinds of lies and gossip and jealousy and fits of rage.
