We're picking up with day three of our Dare to Dream

Devotion on the Bible app.

And as always, I'm going to read the scripture,

then Tori's going to pick up with the devo.

Let's do it.

The scripture is Matthew, chapter 7, verse 11.

And it says this,

So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children,

how much more will your Heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.

The devotional is titled, Do We Dare to Dream?

Says this, no one ever enjoys the feeling of disappointment.

The emotional weight makes it difficult to even breathe at times.

We certainly will do our best to camouflage it. We smile and say it's no big deal. We brush it off with the statement I totally understand. But no matter who you are,

no matter where you encounter it, the truth is no one likes to be disappointed.

Amen. I can recall moments in my childhood when circumstances out of my parents' control

would interrupt our plans.
