And welcome to the show. Good to have you once again. You know it's good to get together like this

and to share some good things from the Lord and talk about life. You might be in the

car right now and you're on the way to an appointment, maybe a very important

appointment, and you need some help, you need some guidance maybe in decision-making, whatever

it might be.

Maybe you're at home and sitting and listening to the show and you

just need that extra little bit of encouragement today. Well, that's what we're doing here and it's a pleasure to spend some time with you talking

about the things of the Lord.

I have a great show today.

I want to talk about a topic that I get questions about from time to time where people will

say I want to be used by God.

I want the Lord to use me, you know, in a particular way. They read the Bible and they

see that God used people like David and, you know, the early apostles and they want to know, well can God use me that way too?

And the answer is absolutely yes, God can use you.

And so I'm going to talk today about the process

of really becoming the person

that God typically uses.

Because God doesn't just use people because they say, you know, use me, he usually goes through a time of preparation

where their life is changed. He begins to mold them and shape them for the mission and then they enter into this readiness or this listening phase where God can use them at any moment.
