The biggest take away? If your partner sees a bird and points to it, look at the bird and acknowledge you’ve seen it. This is a metaphor for aspects of your relationship! Also, do you scan your relationship for kindness or for contempt? Be conscious of what you are looking for, because what you focus on grows.
