I've got to tell you, my friends, in my opinion, one of the worst kinds of people.

Oh my gosh, is the person who talks and talks and talks and says they're going to do a lot of

things and there is

no follow through. In fact, I learned years ago that when we even share things that we're going

to do that sound cool, we get the dopamine hit from the immediate feedback. And so we're already

satisfied. And then why do the thing? We already got all the praise and the excitement,

meaning if I announce, I'm writing a book, everyone's going to go, wow, that's so cool, what

it's about. You know, tell us about it. It's so exciting. You know, tell us everything. And I get to

revel in that and bathe in that and then think, you know, why actually follow through with a hard

task of writing 60,000 plus

words when people have already given their excitement and their praise to me?

Talk is cheap, my friends, talk is cheap, talk is cheap.

Why not be in the other group, right?

There's a lot less competition in that group.

A lot of people talk, They talk a great game.

But how many people actually follow through and act? I've got a fable on this today, my friends.

It is called the Mice in Council. And it is a good one. Share this one, my friends, with anyone who needs to take some action. The Mice summoned a council to decide how they might best devise means for

obtaining notice of the approach of their great enemy, the cat. Among the many plans devised,

the one that found most favour was the proposed to tie a bell to the neck of the cat, that the mice might be warned by the

sound of the tinkering and run away and hide themselves in their holes at his approach.
