1:09.5 | What didn't it be amazing if we didn't sin anymore? We all do things we shouldn't do, |
1:14.9 | but we don't have to live bound by sin. Before we learn how to bring about change in our lives, |
1:21.1 | we need to understand why we keep committing the sins that we do. |
1:25.3 | So why do we keep sinning? Part of the answer is what we discussed in day one. |
1:30.0 | All humans are born with a sinful nature. Our flesh is strong and self-serving, |
1:35.7 | and it wants what it wants. We're susceptible to temptation, and in turn, it's likely that we'll sin. |
1:43.4 | We have desires and appetites that want to be fed. So when temptation strikes, our flesh has such |
1:50.7 | a difficult time saying no because it's weak. The Apostle Paul wrote that he doesn't understand |
1:56.8 | why he does what he does, that he literally hated doing the things that he did, but he kept on |
2:03.7 | doing them. And the things he wanted to do, he didn't do them. In such moments of weakness, |
2:10.4 | our spiritual enemy is near. He tries to convince us that what we're doing is okay. You can be assured |
