I think it's fair to say that was a wholly uninspiring Liverpool performance.

However, there was one silver line in.

I feel like we should start with one of the few positives to take from tonight, and it was Jeremy Thinpong.

I'm good with that, absolutely.

Jeremy Thinpong today was the bright spark on this Liverpool side.

He seemed to be the one that was going to carry the fighter leads.

I was wholly impressed.

We already know the guys of speed that.

We already know he's like the roadrunner.

But I was impressed with this intensity today.

It was the intensity of the press.

There's one point in the game where I kind of noted it to you in the watch along.

One of Liverpool's better chances

in that first half really comes from him busting a gut to go from the right-hand side right across

to the left-hand side put a pressure on on it on a guy when it was a ball he had no right to contend

for he was never going to win he was never in for a chance of getting it But that was enough to put him under pressure and for him to send the ball all the way back and Liverpool was able to win the ball, intercept it and get back up and create a chance off the back of it. So for me, there was moments where I just seen him his work right off the ball was exceptional. I thought his intensity in terms of making sure that he was

constantly trying to get and drive towards that byline. That was fantastic as well. Again, some of the

deliveries weren't too bad. There was a couple of deliveries, especially in that second half where he does

cut one back. I think he gets a little bit unlucky with in terms of where it falls into the box.

But outside of that, I thought he was a bright spark for us today very much

energetic seemed like the energizer bunny to be going on back and forth up and down up and down
