Messy Masterpiece Podcast, which I didn't worry. Can I just take a moment to say,

but I don't listen to our podcasts. I mean, I do. Yes, you do. I 100% do. I listen to them all.

my beautiful wife, Tori, and we have a great devotional for you today. It's going to be pretty great,

you guys, that we are in James specifically at chapter one versus two and three. Oh, fun.

And it's titled great joy. And it says, dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind

come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is

tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. The love letter from God says, beloved child,

the joy that comes from me is not just a feeling. It is an experience that is so much more

exhilarating than any emotion. True happiness comes when you seek holiness. The kind of joy that

I give can't be destroyed by the trials that life brings. My joy brings strength. It's supernatural

and it's yours for the asking, if you've lost your joy, look at where you are and then come back

to me. I will give you the joy you need to live with passion and strength. I am happy when I see

my child filled with my joy in celebrating the knowledge that he or she is loved and forgiven.

Love your Heavenly Father. The reflection says, joy is not just a feeling. It is a supernatural

God-given gift of the Holy Spirit. It separates our feelings from our circumstances so we can walk

victoriously before we even see the victory. Think about the times when your battles activated your

faith and God became more real to you than ever before. That is when endurance grows and you become
