Jess was invited to a cool party in New York City, and so I said, sure, I'll go with you, Jess.

That's exactly where we should be, because we need to be in a bar with a bunch of people really close together.

It is great to see that there's live

music and people are playing actual songs with real instruments in person, with people, in

places, across the nation. It's exciting. There was no green screen involved, no computers.

This is where things started to get a little bit bizarre. We go into New York, and I made dinner reservations at a restaurant.

We haven't had a dinner in New York City in a very long time, so I find a restaurant,

and as I've talked to a lot of friends and family who have spent more time in New York recently,

they said make sure you bring your vaccine card.

Because apparently, you have to show this very official document.

This can never be duplicated document whenever you enter an establishment.

Sure enough, we get to the door and they ask for your vaccine card and that you're wearing a mask.

There's big signs on the door.

You go into the restaurant. They check it. And so then they walk you to the table and you're wearing a mask. There's big signs on the door. You go into the restaurant, they check it.

No, and you're seated right next to other people.

So here we are now in this very official, secure, super safe restaurant.

We sit down, we look around, and no one has their mask on at the table.

So in the area that we were just walking into the table, we had to wear a mask.

But as soon as we sit down, we had to take our mask off.

Truth is, you can't eat with a mask on.
