So today, we are talking about a game that is very big in my life,

for a reason I can't quite understand, but it is The Sims.

A lot of us have played The Sims. It's one of those games that I feel everyone has played at some point.

So Fahy, as Edward Kitaku Elder, do you want to tell us about your first time with The Sims?

I can tell you my exact first time with the Sims. It was the year 2000.

That's when the Sims first came out, wasn't it?

It was February 2000.

And I had just returned that May.

I was actually, I live in Atlanta right now.

At some point during late 1999, I decided to move blindly to Texas to be with a moment I met on the internet and never had seen before.

I do not recommend doing that.

I'm not going to get into details.

Don't do that.

I ended up living in Austin, Texas for a month. Uh, the job I had gotten there fell

through. Uh, someone, another friend on the internet, will say friend with air quotes on the

internet, paid me, uh, I think it was $300, $500 to come to San Jose to live with them. That lasted for about two weeks. Then I got to
