0:11.0	And I'm Patrick Miller. Right now we're learning how to follow Jesus by working our way through the Gospel of Luke.
0:19.0	Imagine that you're walking around with Jesus. You're following him from town to town and just
0:24.4	watching him do his thing. So you're seeing him talk to the crowds, but you're also
0:28.9	seeing him interact with his disciples. Maybe you watch a few miracles, some people healed, that kind of thing.
0:36.5	But on this particular day, Jesus has the biggest crowd you've ever seen him talk to.
0:41.8	They're coming from all over. In fact, there's so many people coming
0:45.5	in such a small space that they're trampling on one another, bumping into one another. It's
0:51.2	uncomfortable. It's so crowded. Now Jesus stands up and he's getting ready to teach. He's getting
0:58.0	ready to say something to this huge crowd, the biggest you've ever seen him with. What do you imagine he'll say? What do you
1:06.5	imagine will be the content of this talk? What will he teach them? I think you're going to be surprised what Jesus taught the people
1:16.5	on one of the days that he had the biggest crowds ever. We find out in Luke chapter 12 verse one that the topic that Jesus takes on is
1:27.0	hypocrisy. Let me just read the verse for you. Luke chapter 12 verse one.
1:32.0	Meanwhile when a crowd of many thousand you're first to his disciples saying be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees which is
1:46.0	hypocrisy.
1:48.0	Hypocracy.
1:49.8	That's what Jesus talked to his disciples about and by extension to this crowd of many thousands of people.
1:57.9	And he says to them, be careful.
2:01.2	This is dangerous stuff here.
2:03.0	Be alert. Pay attention.
2:06.0	Hypocrisy is dangerous, dangerous to your soul, dangerous to other people.
