Welcome to the Jill on Money Show. It is Friday, September 16th. By the time you're listening

0:10.7

to this, unless you're listening very early, maybe you're an insomniac or you live in

0:16.2

London and we drop, you know, we drop these things early, early in the morning. By the time

0:20.5

you listen to this, I will be up and riding my first day of the cycle for the cause. You

0:27.6

can still donate. I'm going to keep it up live through the weekend. And that's that 88

0:32.8

miles today, 102 miles on the second day, and then another 82 miles on the third day.

0:39.5

So wish me luck gang. I can feel the spirit and the wind and the hands on my back. All of

0:44.9

that together, I really do appreciate it. So to help declutter our inbox, I promised

0:53.2

1:21.8

through the government and a 10 year term policy through New York life, I have a million.

1:27.4

1:33.2

it costs $252 a month. It will double in December. I miss the cutoff to convert it. I just

1:42.6

need to get another policy before December. Oh gosh. I was diagnosed with cancer in November.

1:48.7

I'm now now cancer-free, but my health dictates the premium quotes, not just my age. I've

1:54.7

got 38 years of federal service and I can't retire at any time. My plan is to work until

2:00.1

age 62, but possibly retire sooner. I don't want to be working when if cancer returns.

2:07.3

Oh, this is tough, tough. I get a 90% disability payment each month. Pension would be $1,700

2:14.0

with survivor benefits. Retiring before 62 would allow me to get a stipend payment about $1,200

2:22.0

each month until I can collect Social Security at 62 or at my full retirement age of 67.
