I want to talk a little bit about the injury report and the lack of

information on the injury report that in this case is actually a good thing. I want to talk a little

bit about that. We'll talk a bit about the matchup as well. I also want to get into whether or not

the Lakers are actually contenders right now. And we'll finish things off by diving into the mailbag before we get

to help out the show all right so as I, the Lakers do take on the wolves tonight. I looked around a few different places. Right now, as I'm recording this, the Lakers are right around a five and a half point favorite for tonight's game. And some of that has to do with the injury report. Now you look at the Lakers, their current injury report, pretty clean. I mean, overall, like LeBron James listed is probable, okay, he's going to play. He's going to be on every injury report with the left foot injury management, but probable that he's playing. Bronny James with the South Bay Lakers, so he will not be available, but he doesn't play much unless it's garbage time anyway. And then Maxie Kleber. Now, I did want to mention him because I've had a

few people asking me recently what's going on with him. Where is he? When is he coming back? Could

he actually help this team? So if you remember when the new Lakers coming in, I'm talking about,

of course, Luca, but also maxi and

marquiv morris were introduced maxi was asked about his foot injury and a broken foot had surgery

when he's going to be re-evaluated and at that point it was he said it was going to be about eight

weeks until he got re-evaluated. And that was that trade went down.

What was it about three and a half weeks ago now?

So we're probably looking somewhere around the five week-ish mark until Maxi gets re-evaluated.

Now here we are end of February.

So that means we're looking at maybe first week, towards the end of the first week in April, we'll get a reevaluation for MagSie. And then at that point, they'll make a determination of how much longer it's going to be. Remember, I say it all the time. Re-evaluate does not mean return. That's not the way that works. So we are still a little ways off. And if you look at the Lakers schedule right now, I mean, their final game of the regular season, that's coming up on April 13th. So I would say there's a decent chance that we don't see Maxi Kleba, at least in the regular season. If he gets re-evaluate, I mean, let's say he's

re-evaluated, I don't know, let's call it April 8th or something like that.

That's not a lot of time for him to get the green light, then get his conditioning back up,

and then be ready to actually play, and then you're immediately put into the playoffs.

I think it's a higher probability that we don't see him this season
