1:06.0

Hey, Michael, very humbling when you realize Pelosi's rated the 21st best speaker of the House. Right, right? Not exactly an accolade. Dude, you can only go up from there though. Come on.

1:18.0

Yes, yes, yes. This is what we're talking about. This is America. We always aspire to the next number above us. That's what we always have until recently. It's one of the reasons I modern liberalism.

1:34.0

I don't know. I don't like people being hamstrung by stipulation or shame about doing well or any of that. I always like the streetscape with gold shining city on a hill or a show, all that stuff always mattered to me.

1:49.0

I can see now that I guess it's best exemplified by our kids for the last 25 years. It seems in this country that parents have told their kids to get into one of the ideas that have to take a second language.

2:04.0

They have to take up the sport of musical instrument that after joins the United Nations debate team. If they got a week off, they were going to Nick O'Roguewood and build a domicile for a stranger.

2:13.0

All in an effort to get into a great school. And then when they get out of a great school, four years hence, there's their parents standing with a ass hat like Bernie Sanders telling them they're all going to make the same amount of money.

2:26.0

I don't like that. I think Sanders is brilliant enough to realize there's a fortune to be made today by convincing young people they don't need money to be truly rich. So I'll give him that.

2:38.0

I can't tell you the conversations I have with these young folks who are there saying this stuff like, oh well, you know, people should just give their money to someone.

2:48.0

I'm like, really? So why don't you give me some money right now because I definitely could use some. And they kind of look at you. I just don't understand the concept. It makes no sense to me where we get this idea that capitalism just suddenly just stop working.

3:02.0

Listen, you know, all this the last 50 years of all these guys who were making it on a log at Woodstock taking a dump and then they became public school teachers and they've convinced kids over the last five decades that our ways are the bad ways.

3:18.0

And it's listen kids can't explain it because they don't have an attended history course to tell them why socialism is bad, but they do have a lot of earnest feelings by guys who in the 40s with ponytails telling them that America is bad.

3:32.0

And guess what? It caught up to us. It bit us in the ass. All those older hippies have not convinced the kids that, you know, the worst person in the history, the plan of this Christopher Columbus.

3:43.0

And when you say to him, why do you favor socialism? It can't have an explain like this.

3:48.0

Well, but you've got back to Bernie. Bernie sort of dressing it up as well. You know, this is democratic socialism. And then what does he come out with the other day, a plan where he's saying, oh, we're going to we're going to do one better than Elizabeth Warren who only wants to spend $600 billion to pay off student debt.

4:10.0

We're going to pay off every student debt in the country, a tune of $1.3 trillion. And this is the kicker, Dennis. It's a one time hit.

4:23.0

So whoever those students are, the students coming through the system after them, guess what they're doing, accumulating more debt because no one's paying that off yet.

4:34.0

I just have this concept that we just pay it off and it all just kind of magically goes away. And I think you know, I understand that.
