You know, very often I find that scandals reporting

is more a political's gotcha, right? You know, it's like, okay, one political party is in power.

They're going after their opponents. And the scandals are more about politics than anything else.

So when I heard that the FBI rated the district office of a state senator out of Virginia,

who happened to be a Democrat, well, my first thought was party politics.

Senator Eloise Lucas is a longtime figure in Virginia policy. She's also the Senate president

pro tempore. And so she actually played a rather prominent role in the state's recent

congressional redistricting efforts. So when I heard that her office had been rated, I'm like, well,

okay, let me check it out, but I kind of had this hunch.

Then I found out that she also had a nearby cannabis dispensary that she co-owns was rated as well.

Of course, there were warrants.
