Jay Gruden had some interesting things to say about the way he feels the staff

is handling Jaden and his injury.

Yeah, well, that's disappointing.

If he could have returned to play.

He should have gone back into play for God's six. This is a good to be quite annoying for me as a ex-quarterback who played with many, many injuries. I know he's a franchise player, but, I mean, injuries happen. You've got to play with pain a little bit. You're not always going to be 100% when you step out on the field. So you've got to show your physical toughness at times, and you can't be babied by the coach or the trainers.

I mean, you've got to go out there and play. It's a left elbow for God's sakes. You don't need it. I mean, just squat there and let it rip. You know, I was disappointed in the protection plan against the past rush of Minnesota a little bit. But for the most part, he should go back and play if he can.

If Gruden were the current coach, we know what would have happened this past Sunday.

He would have been back out of the field.

I feel like there's a sense.

There's a part of me that feels like Jay is maybe thinks that Jaden wanted to. No, Jaden wanted to play. Yeah. Jaden slammed his helmet. He wanted to play. It's the staff holding him back. It's not him. Now, in DQ's defense, he just got his ass burned for keeping him in too long. And so I think he's got a little PTSD.
