ESPN.com today looking at the 18 teams that did not make the playoffs and putting them into

tiers. Tier one is really no need to panic. The Ravens, Lions, and Chiefs are in that tier.

A few moves away, Cincinnati, Dallas, Indie, Minnesota, and Tampa Bay is in that tier.

And then there was this sneaky, good trajectory, Atlanta, New Orleans, and the Giants

were in that tier. And then Jeremy Fowler put somewhere between contention and reset

Washington into that tier, saying, you know, Jaden is a top 10 quarterback and they were really injured

and they've got a lot of cap space. So that's the case for contention. But, you know, they were

a hard team to evaluate because they have a lot of needs, especially on defense. And then he

writes tight end and running back as well.

So I'm not going to use the category that he had somewhere between contention and reset

as an option. It's actually a little bit confusing.

The three options here are, right now the three options are no need to panic,

a few moves away, or many moves away from contention.

And contention would be for the playoffs and a chance to maybe make some hay in the playoffs.

I'm not talking about a certified Super Bowl contender,

but I'm talking about a team that wins 10 games or more and

qualifies for the postseason. That's contention. Which tier would you put our team in? And why?

No need to panic, a few moves away or many moves away. For me, I think it's a few moves away

from contention, that kind of contention.

I mean, they won 12 games with a bad defense two years ago. Maybe they can't replicate that

because of, you know, everything that went their way. But if they're healthy next year and

Jaden plays 17 games and plays at a high level, I put them in contention just based on that. And a few
