It's Tuesday July 21st and I am still on the floor of my bedroom closet, which means this is another edition of Nurdett's Introverts Guide to the Good Life.

So ever since 1975, back when Jaws came out, Hollywood has been banking hard on the idea of the summer

blockbuster.

And audiences love it.

And audiences love it.

Welcome to Jurassic Park.

And I mean think about it when it's 90 degrees who doesn't want to like sit in an

excessively air-conditioned room and eat snacks in the dark for several hours

while watching a big loud bright thrilling movie.

But the pandemic has totally thrown summer movie season for a loop.

Lots of movies are going straight to streaming. We've got our Judd Appetows and our Charlize therones and our Willferels.

But which streaming movies are really worth your time?

And what will the pandemic mean for the film industry?

And are we ever actually going to see Tenet, the big budget Christopher Nolan's sci-fi flick scheduled to come out in August.

Will we ever see that on the big screen where it is meant to be seen?

Well, the answer to that question may actually be never. We just found out that that film has been delayed indefinitely, but there's still a lot more to discuss and here to talk us through it is Eliana Doctorman.
