This comes at a strange time, doesn't it?

It's just day four of Tottenham's three-week break between the Nottingham Forest game and the Sunderland game.

We are only a fifth of the way through.

Things feel as though they've gone a little bit

quiet on the Spurs front, but plenty to discuss on this episode. Jack, you wrote an article

yesterday, six weeks on, just six weeks on we are from Frank Sacking, with the question of whether

Spurs hierarchy are facing the same questions.

Yeah, it's a strange time, isn't it?

I think in many ways it resembles the time immediately after that,

the Newcastle defeat six weeks ago,

after which they sacked Thomas Frank in the sense that, you know, they need, everybody's kind of bruised by

such a painful home defeat. The team, the team's record in the league is bad and getting worse.

They, they decided then to roll the dice and bring in Eagle Tudor because they did have a lot of

time between that game and the next one. And now they're...

But I think when they did that, they would have hoped...

I really hope we don't have to do this again.

And yet six weeks on, they're back in a fairly similar situation.

You know, they've got three weeks between the Forest game and the Sunderland game.
