mosque and fought police on Tuesday night in Southport on Merseys.

Before the riot, reform UK's leader Nigel Farrah decided to publish a video questioning

whether the public had been given the whole truth.

I just wonder whether the truth is being withheld from us. I don't know the answer to that.

I think it is a fair and legitimate question.

We'll speak to our reporter who's been in Southport all week.

We're recording this on Wednesday two days after the knife attack in Southport.

So far it's left three girls dead and at the time this was recorded six other children were continuing to receive treatment,

with two remaining in critical care but in a stable condition.

On Tuesday night there was a riot outside a local mosque in which police vehicles were

set alight and more than 50 officers were injured.

Merseys police have said that the riots started when a large group of people who the police believed

to be supporters of the English Defence League through things at the mosque.

There is a wider context for these disturbances.
