Last night, we were reminded

why the Champions League is the biggest draw

in world football.

To Pompeii who scored this time.

And surely now, Paris, Saint-Gernand,

through to the semi-binals of the Champions League,

after a great brilliant quarter-binal,

over two legs against Barcelona.

Meanwhile, FIFA seemed to be stepping back in the battle to stop competitive games being taken abroad.

So could we one day see the Premier League or La Liga decided in the USA, or indeed, the UEFA Champions League final in Saudi Arabia.

Okay, joining this today, we have the Athletics, Matt Slater, and also Adam Crafton, who dropped a piece on The Athletic earlier this week, detailing why European football matches might finally be coming to the USA.

I mean, Adam, amazing spectacle of football last night in the Champions League. I mean, a golfest. And I can imagine fans in America were watching it.

But I mean, if you think about, you know, the big CBS deal or the Paramount deal for the Champions League, I'm talking billions of pounds.

There's a real appetite there, really, isn't there, for Americans to get that flavor

of European football?

Yeah, I mean, the key things to remember here are international rights deals now for the

Premier League outpace the domestic deal.

And the most recent Champions League deal, I think, was a 2.5 times uplift on the previous

one as well.
