We're talking about who pays the bill in 2024.

So before you are any introductions, I want to start off with a question.

This one's a little bit more for the ladies, although I'm going to figure out how to make

this more guy focus too.

But here's the question.

We'll start over here. You're on a date.

Guy busts out a gift certificate on the first date.

So it's a gift certificate or like a I don't think people really use coupons anymore but like a you know something like that to pay the bill.

How do you react?

I would not react. I would I'm already on the date with him so I would be polite and enjoy the rest of the date

Okay great well what would you think of that? I would think that he should have saved that gift certificate for another occasion.

Okay, how come? I would prefer that if he's taking me on a date that he's trying to make an impression and I feel like using a gift certificate feels like a little bit of a shortcut and if he's taking me on a date I would prefer for him to take that into consideration that he's trying to impress me and not try to maybe cut corners on the first date.

Okay, why is that cutting corners?

I just feel like it's not showing potentially that he's maybe thinking he wants to impress me as much.

Like I would prefer if he's gonna spend his own

money not maybe something that he got from like a corporate I don't know gift card from a boss or something, like I'd want him to show what he can, you know, offer on his own.

Okay, over here. Same question.

Me, well. Yes, you. I honestly wouldn't care. That just means he could spend more the next date. Honestly, I would do the same only just because the more you save, the more you can spend another time.

Okay, so even if he has, like it pays for the whole bill. I mean,
