For some, it's because they still don't quite understand the salary mechanics, and think $50 million the Lakers don't pay LeBron is $50 million that could go to a younger star, or younger players. Others appreciate James, but think the Lakers just shouldn't be paying someone as old as he is, even in slow decline, that much of the salary cap.
