question here on a mailbag Monday.

First, we got to tell you that it is December 15th.

So, Derek, before we get to the questions, can you let everybody know what December 15th means

in NBA world?

Yeah, it basically means a bunch of people who signed free agent contracts in the summer are now, this is the first

day they are eligible to be traded. So a lot of, you know, people circle this date on their

calendar. Like I said, I think something like now half the league or a little more than that is

eligible to be traded, whereas before there were a lot of restrictions.

So this is a day where like people circle,

like start talking about it.

Realistically, a lot of years,

there's not actually a ton of movement at this time.

Like every now and then there will be a big name.

I'm thinking about Pascal Seaccom a couple years ago.

But for the most part, it is a pretty quiet time, but the buildup

starts and you start hearing chatter and you start hearing rumors. It's not that there's no

conversations happening right now. It's just that decision makers tend to be, you know,
