My name is Al. You can use my name. I'm a 73 year old military veteran and a two time

cancer survivor who has been married to my wife for 48 years. I grew up in New Orleans and now

we live 20 miles north of Lake Ponset Train. When I was 15, I had my first odd experience.

My father and mother were both at work. As the oldest of four children, I was in charge.

It was early in the morning and I was sitting at the kitchen table eating my breakfast. We didn't

have air conditioning back then. We cooled the house the best we could with a big window fan

in one window and all the other windows wide open. The shotgun design of the house, a common

design in New Orleans, helped with the airflow. As I sat there next to an open window, a bright orange

glowing orb about the size of a basketball entered through the window right in front of me.

It circled the room at a very slow pace and then flew back out the same window. I was stunned.

Seven years later, in August of 1967, my National Guard unit was at summer camp at Fort Chaffey,

near Fort Smith, Arkansas. About a hundred of us were standing around on the parade grounds
