So let's get right to the questions.

The first question is Josh Bird. My name is Josh and I'm from

Philadelphia. Well that's funny Josh because I'm from Philadelphia too. That's where we're

filming everybody. So if anybody ever thinks we're in New York City filming, no, no, we're actually in Philly.

So back to the question. why are we seeing a trend among

upcoming portrait photographers of shooting extremely under-exposed and then doing

over-the-top processing to make the eyes an overall color of the image look

unnatural? A well-known example being Danny Diamond. So before I get to Danny Diamond, who I personally actually never heard of and have never followed,

let's talk about why we're seeing this washed out trend.

I'm not a fan of under-exposed images and the dreamy washed-out look,

but what's happening is that the younger photographers coming up today

are being influenced by the Instagram photographers, the people over the last five, six years

who have built a following off of doing this particular style of image. Now it may not be for me,

it may not be what I like, but a lot of people like what they're seeing, so they try to emulate and

copy it, which is perfectly fine if that works for them. Now, again, I'm not a fan of dreamy images.
