What if the medications women are told to trust during pregnancy are actually putting their babies at risk? 🤰⚠️
Dr. Adam Urato—Chief of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at MetroWest Medical Center—has spent decades on the frontlines caring for expecting mothers. After testifying before the FDA, he’s sounding the alarm on antidepressants, SSRIs, and even Tylenol, revealing shocking links to brain development and long-term health outcomes for children.

The studies mentioned in this interview are linked here:
Koc (2023): Maternal SSRI use during pregnancy is associated with decreased brain volumes and altered brain development in offspring. Exposed babies had smaller brains at ages 7 and 15.
Mulder (2011) & Salisbury (2024): Ultrasound studies showing that fetuses exposed to SSRIs move abnormally in utero—demonstrating increased movements, less quiescence, agitation, irritability, and restlessness.
Videman (2017): EEG study showing newborn brain function is affected by fetal exposure to maternal SSRIs.
