Hey, I guess I'm going to be one of those different colleges that comes in from not exactly

a biased point of view, but to something, a different point of view.

Just quick, quick backstory. You know, I've been in private schools, my mom's a minister,

my entire life, my entire life, except for maybe one or two in

high school. And I guess I'll just begin with, just some of the, some of the people you'll

have on today, you know, God bless your souls, it's just, some of these questions they're asked.

They said, I don't feel forgiven because some priests forgot to say a couple, couple words.

So am I forgiven? Like, do they really believe, I'm sorry, I don't need to get mad, but like, do they really believe that? Let it rip, Chris, let it rip. Yeah, I'm good. Just some guy in a booth, he could be an 18-year-old, good-faced kid, or, or, I mean, we've all heard rumors about, well, we won't

get into that, but they're relying on some stranger that isn't their higher power,

isn't God or isn't Mary or this or that, to give them acceptance to where they feel

forgiven or not.

I mean, I'm horrible at expressing stuff.

I think I know what you're driving at.

In other words, let me try to tell you what I'm hearing you say.

Who cares and what does it matter if some priest whom you don't even necessarily know

says the words of absolution or doesn't say them?

I mean, why does forgiveness depend upon that?

And can't you just know that you're forgiven because you've asked God for forgiveness and in your

heart you believe he's forgiven you? Is that a fair rendition?
