Are angels real?

I've learned from my study of Christian science.

They are gentle, peaceful, healing thoughts from God, always at hand to guide us, and they always bless.

I experienced the help of angel thoughts before I retired. I hadn't planned financially or otherwise for retirement, so the only thing I could do was pray.

I turned wholeheartedly to God, praying with Psalm 91,

for he shall give his angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways.

As I prayed to feel God's presence, comfort came in trusting God's message

that angel thoughts and intuition would be guiding me and keeping me safe. Fear and worry were

gradually replaced with assurance that God's angels could be completely trusted,

and as God's spiritual creation, I would recognize them when I heard them.

I was comforted when reading in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Begretty,

where she writes that angels are pure

thoughts from God, winged with truth and love, no matter what their individualism may be.

Those pure thoughts give me and everyone all necessary supply in specific ways.

This applies fundamentally a spiritual concept.

When we understand this spiritual provision of divine mind or God,

our human experience is blessed.
