There is the belief that every person has a guardian angel.

I don't find that in scripture.

We do find that there are guardian angels, but the idea of having your own individual guardian angel,

I think goes well beyond what's written. And especially when you find that some

a leading Roman Catholic philosophers speculate, therefore, that you can calculate how many

angels there are by just adding up the human population.

So I want to start at a passage that I think is often very perplexing and fascinating,

really, though, to many Christians.

It's a passage in Hebrews 13.
