I couldn't just come out blasting as soon as I entered grad school like,

hey, I'm here to try to figure out if maybe aliens could be future humans.

They would have kicked me out.

Now I'm a tenured full professor.

I'm still a strict grounded scientist, but I'm using my scientific background and understanding

to ask questions that normally we can't ask without the protections of tenure.

But yeah, it's funny because people are always like, how does a biological

anthropologist get involved in this? But really it was how did someone

involved in this from age eight become a biological anthropologist? And that's sort of what brought me to this is the form of these

beings. They just have a suite of characteristics that are not only consistent with the

hominin and lineage, what we are. They have a form consistent with what we'd expect to see in our evolutionary future. We would expect to see

something that looks very similar to these beings. Welcome back to the

transmission my friends. For me, the uFO phenomenon is just such an

irresistibly seductive rabbit hole it is saucily novel yet like anything that is dubious or unverifiable it's really difficult to know

what to make of each individual case, story, person involved.

And that's why I'm really selective

in how I approach this topic and who comes on the show.

But one thing I cannot ignore is when narratives begin to emerge, begin to really seep into the

zeitgeist, especially as someone who's really into young and archetypal psychology.
