0:49.5	electric vehicle battery maker, majority owned by Chinese these days, the Envision Group, started production
0:55.5	three days ago at a new factory in Duai in France. The facility will offer a 10 gigawatt hour
1:01.7	annual capacity, and they'll supply EV batteries to Renault. So the next Renault that you buy,
1:08.6	well, that's where the batteries could have been made.
1:11.4	The plants will employ 650 people, expanding its workforce to 1,000 at full production.
1:17.0	Earlier this year in January, the European Commission approved 48 million euros in French state aid.
