If you lost a billion dollar opportunity, how would that affect your life?
For Noah Kagan, it certainly was not easy. But he didn’t let it stop him from becoming successful.
Noah is the founder/CEO of AppSumo, a daily deals website for digitally distributed goods and online services based in Austin, TX.
Before founding AppSumo, he was employee #30 at Facebook, working directly under Mark Zuckerberg. After a 9 month tenure, Noah was fired, losing out on nearly a billion dollars in stock. He was also employee #4 at Mint.com before deciding that he wanted to be his own boss, and founding AppSumo.
In today’s episode, Noah sits down with Nick to talk about how getting fired from Facebook was just the beginning of his story, and share some great insight into what it truly means to be successful.
