Joining us on the podcast today is Jeff Bauer, chief engineer at Archer Aviation.

One of the Air Mobility companies that's been making a lot of news lately, especially late last week.

Leslie, what's the latest on Archer?

You know, the timing could not be better, Pete.

Archer is one of those companies that has chosen the SPAC route, if you will, the special purpose acquisition

company route to go public. And so just late last week, they completed a transaction with Atlas Crest Investment Corp that

takes the company public on a New York stock exchange and this is as up

September 17th which is late last week. So it's interesting, Pete, to see these urban

air mobility companies really going mainstream, at least in terms of the investment world, and going on to the public markets.

And so they are working, as I understand,

on an electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicle.

So maybe we'll hear something from them soon like I'm looking forward to the

conversation with Jeff. Yeah they are indeed working on EV tall in fact another big milestone

for Archer lately was that they kind of passed a key

regulatory hurdle getting their G1 certification from the Federal Aviation

Administration earlier this month.
