Okay, here we go. Megan, won't you tell me the cultiest thing that's happened to you this week?

Well, nothing has happened to me this week.

So I am using a new story. We discussed a couple months ago about a father of a Sarah Lawrence student who got a group of his daughter's girlfriends involved in a very weird to put it plainly cults where he was the leader.

He was an ex-police man. He was very charismatic. He got them all involved in this weird world that he created, which is also so strange because his daughter was there.

And I think he got a few of them into prostitution and it's all very awful and layered, but there's information coming out of his trial that a lot of those girls tried to commit suicide.

And it was often after they had spoken to him about those tendencies, they would be you know opening up to him.

And then he would come visit them after they did that and be like very involved in the recovery.

The treatment team said that he would insert himself into their recovery. So fucking wild.

He portrayed himself as a mental health expert and was like diagnosing these poor girls.
