She was assumed to be a runaway for years, but the sheriff's department took another look at the case,

and they now believe it's a criminal one. But they need to find April to move forward. I'm Charlie,

and welcome to crime lines.

Hello and welcome to day three of the 12 days of crime lines, 12 days that are not exactly in a row,

0:41.7

but they are spread out throughout the month and that has been working for us so far. We're only on day three,

0:47.5

so we'll see how the rest of the days go. Today's episode takes us to northwest Arkansas

1:51.5

age. When April was about four or so, her parents divorced, and her mother, Tina, did

1:57.4

remarry, and then in 2002, April's father died. April was just 11. Not long after her

2:05.7

father's death, Tina's second marriage ended and she didn't have anywhere to go with the children.

2:12.0

Tina didn't work and her only income was the Social Security survivor benefits so that she

2:17.3

was getting for the kids because their father died.
