Look, I know this is weird, but you're used to it.

If you've been listening to our show for a little while.

I've been thinking a lot about sheep lately and what Jesus said about them and how they're used

in the Bible to describe all of us. And we don't like this, not one bit, but this is what Jesus

says. We're all sheep. But we're the sheep who are headled over in the corner of a pasture and one of us

stands up on the hind legs and lectures us about how we're not really sheep. And there is no shepherd

except ourselves. And we're the awesome ones. And, you know, we've developed so much that we don't

need anybody coming over telling us, you know,

anything about us because we're geniuses and let's just, you know, maximize our potential.

And then we all walk away on all fours and start munching on grass again.

Mm-hmm.

Because we're actually sheep.

And again, we don't want this.

And we like to think we're big stuff, but Jesus says he's the good shepherd.

So again, everything he says is always like, for a humble person, you're like, oh, a good shepherd, good, we need one.

And for the rest of us, we're like, sheep.

It's always good news for the humble, and it's always impossible to take for somebody who's proud.
