With Gene and Chris, we're joined this week by our old friend Greg Bishop,

and he's author of a new book called It Defies Language, Essays on UFOs and Other Weirdness,

and by the way, the illustrations, magnificent, I guess, cartoon-style illustrations by Red Pill Junkie.

He should be working for D.C. comics, I think. He should be working for DC comics, I think.

He should be working for lots of people. In fact, the thing is that this is the first book he's

ever done and designed. He showed me some caricatures he did of Nick and I and a few other people.

I said, this was like in, what, something like September of last year. year and I said do you want to try and do

some illustrations for my book I don't have anybody to do anything and he hit it out of the park

in the first try I think he should be probably getting book designing work already I think I think

he is because of this and it's well deserved certainly he needs a new profession this is it

but he could also,

you know, take a gig at DC Comics. I think he'd do well with that. Yeah, I think he would too.

Well, I think he'd do good at any comics place. He should start his own. His illustration is great.

He's always saying, oh, I don't have any real good formal training. And it's like, I don't either. But we put together a book, so who

cares? And it looks beautiful. I was at the farmer's market here in L.A. two days ago with

Steve Berg, who's a fan of my show, we had the book on the table. Basically, it's an outdoor

place with a bunch of different stalls with restaurants in them. And people were walking by,

and everybody was looking at the book because the cover

graphic is so compelling to people.
