She called in and had this to say, because I talk a lot about anger, because man, there's a lot of it.

Oh my goodness.

2014 was the year of outrage according to slate.com.

People are mad all the time.

Really? I didn't know that.

Oh, yeah, everybody's mad about everything all the time.

So we talk a lot about anger here, but here is her take.

Hey, Brent, this is Amanda.

I think I differ with you a little bit on the anger thing.

I think anger is a natural emotion to have at times in our lives, depending on circumstances.

I think the issue comes in in how we respond to that anger and what we do with that anger.

My experience is I find people who feel like that they're entitled to act out on their anger.

And there's a difference in being angry and acting out.

Okay, which totally sounds reasonable to me, and it's actually what I used to think.

Now, I do agree with her, with Amanda, I do agree with you on the fact that anger happens.

It's not a sin to get angry. It happens.

Right. But the Bible is really consistent on this. If that's going to be the authority on this,

like, you're supposed to get rid of it that day. So the idea that we're allowed to keep it as long as we don't act out on it,

that sounds very reasonable. It's common sense. All of that sounds very balanced,
