This is going to be one of the busier holiday Mondays that we've encountered in a little while.

All right. There is certainly a lot going on. Let me quickly talk you through the best of it.

Politico last night publishing a big opinion piece by a guy called John Elliott, the former top Pentagon spokesman

who resigned this past week and he has lifted the lid on what he says as chaotic conditions

in the Pentagon, even predicting that Donald Trump will end up firing his defense secretary,

Pete Hakeseth, really big story on our website, Politico's Paul McCleary, also breaking a story

about chaos in the Pentagon,

alongside that culture of dysfunction and backstabbing.

Can you imagine that in the government department?

And separately to that, the New York Times also publishing last night a big story about Pete Hegseth,

saying there was a second signal group chat in which he was sharing details about that attack plan for Yemen,

just like the first one, that the Atlantic revealed this time a different group chat in which he was sharing details about that attack plan for Yemen, just like the

and brother. So a sort of Signalgate part two, if you like, I know, two big stories of Pete Hegeseth in one night.
