Hey everyone, my name is Mike Estefan and you are listening to the EM Clerkship podcast.

There is no educational content on this episode. I just have a couple quick updates for you guys.

Number one, regarding the timing of our podcasts.

So typically we have been releasing episodes on the first of the month

and the 15th of the month. However, we are having issues with our podcast hosting server,

and even though we're uploading and posting these episodes on time, we're having issues

with them actually being kind of pushed through

to the podcasting apps on time. So I just wanted to apologize on our behalf. We are working with

our host company to figure out what the heck's going on. But until this is figured out,

some of these episodes may be a day or too late next i just wanted to give an

update on the applications for the game the next victim for the game i just want to say we have

finally finished going through all of your applications and my mind is simply just blown.

I feel like every year medical school gets more and more competitive,

and so the students are more and more competitive and have longer CVs,

and the group of people who applied for this position, you guys are just all mind-blowingly smart and incredibly accomplished.

Like seriously guys, you are making our job of narrowing down the candidates really freaking hard.

Like, I just can't believe I have to say no to some of you.

It just feels wrong.

That being said, we have narrowed down our selection

to our top candidates. I'm going to be sending every single one of you an email tonight,

and I hope you guys don't take it personally, and I hope you continue to listen to

E.M. Clerkship and continue to support us. And I know I'm beating a dead
