Hi, everyone and welcome to Bata on Paper podcast. I'm Olivia Mentor. And I'm Becca Freeman.

And today we have a Three Things episode. We haven't, I feel like we haven't done one of these in a minute.

I'm very excited. I even brought an interactive, I don't know if it's a game, but a quiz element perhaps.

Oh, delightful. I can't wait. Well, let's talk about some highs and lows first. I want to

hear all about your high. My high is that I just got back from my trip to France, and it was wonderful.

I feel like it felt more special because I hadn't traveled anywhere since the beginning of the year.

And so I was just giddy to go somewhere to take some time off. I fully let myself have the time

office vacation. I didn't work except for I finished a newsletter while I was on the train there,

but otherwise I was very detached from email, from work. And it was wonderful.

We were in Paris for four days. And I love Paris. I feel like I've been lucky enough to go there.

I think this was maybe my fourth or fifth time there. So I have some things that are favorites,

that it was very fun to show somebody

else. And then there's also, it's somewhere where I know that I'll go back to. So there's also like

the aspect of collecting favorites versus, you know, sometimes when you go to a place and you know

that you're not going to, who knows, life is weird, but you know you'll probably never go back again.

Yeah. I love the aspect of knowing that I will continue to go to Paris throughout my life.

Same with London.

Yeah, it was so fun.

And then we went down to Bordeaux, which is somewhere where I've never been before.

And we stayed at the beauty brand Caudelaide has a hotel property outside of Bordeaux. And so we stayed there.

It's like spa slash it's on a vineyard. And it was definitely the more relaxing piece of the

vacation. And it was such a special hotel property. Like the grounds were just so beautiful.
