Hi, everybody. Radio Free Mormon here once again. Now after the second session of General Conference,

the Saturday afternoon session, April 2024, has just concluded with a woman praying, by the way,

the first woman who has prayed so far in General Conference. Perhaps there will be one or maybe even

two more before the entire thing is completed tomorrow afternoon.

Let's go through the recap, shall we?

There wasn't a lot of interest going on today, but I'll see if I can make it as interesting as possible.

First thing is, it does appear to be snowing in Salt Lake City.

It is April 6, 2024.

Nobody's mentioned yet still that it is the anniversary of the founding of the church and yet it is

but it's snowing in salt lake city on april 6 you can see it on the camera outside before they started

the uh the show and i also got a text video from my daughter who lives down there and yeah it looks like

it's coming down pretty bad

in Salt Lake City. By the way, Elder Gary Stevenson is conducting. This may be mildly history

making. He is not a member of the first presidency. He is the first member of the Quorum of the

12 that we were advised and notified by Elder Oaks in the first session would be conducting. So he's the first member

of the Coram of the 12th to conduct. There should be two more according to Elder Oaks. So we look

forward very much to finding out who those are going to be because this is exciting stuff. Believe

me. The first time I've ever seen a mere apostle conducting a session of general conference.

President Nelson, by the way, is now in attendance.

When I saw him in his chair, I thought maybe he would be addressing us this session, and

that's why he was there, but no, he did not address us.
