Summary

In episode 248 astrologers Kelly Surtees, Austin Coppock, and Chris Brennan discuss the astrology of the recent coronavirus pandemic, and later provide a general astrological forecast for April of 2020. This is our first episode together since we recorded the last forecast in mid-February, and the world has changed a lot since that time. We decided to focus on talking about the pandemic in the first half of the episode, and then eventually transition into the monthly forecast later on. A lot of our discussion about the coronavirus focuses on the Saturn-Pluto conjunction that went exact in early January when the pandemic was just ramping up, as well as the Mars-Saturn conjunction that is happening in the sky now. Later we briefly touched on some things like the doctrine of subsumption in mundane astrology, and the discovery of a new comet that may be visible soon. 0:14.0	So in this episode we're going to be talking about the astrological forecast for April of
0:18.8	2020 and also reflecting on recent world events, obviously surrounding the coronavirus and how everything has changed since our last forecast.

0:30.0	Hey, all right. So we recorded our last forecast. Usually these are
0:40.5	always pre-recorded and we record them about sometimes like halfway through or
0:45.4	sometimes towards the end of the month before the forecast actually is and we recorded our last one sometime earlier in February, right?
0:56.5	The forecast for March?
0:57.5	Yeah, the 23rd of February, I think.
1:01.5	Okay, so that's interesting because things were just starting to really develop and happen at that point,
1:08.1	but it hadn't really taken off as much in Western countries and then so much has changed over the course of the past few weeks obviously, right?
1:18.2	A lot has changed. The world is quite different.
1:34.3	Yeah, so let's talk about that usually on the forecast episodes we, over the past few months at least, I try to just jump right into the forecast for the month ahead and save some of the other discussion for later but with so much going on that doesn't really make sense here
1:38.4	today so why don't we just reflect a bit on what's been going on and that's also a good opportunity also to talk about
1:46.0	some of our previous forecast episodes over the past several months and how that sort of
1:51.9	relates to what's happening here which is always kind of interesting.
1:55.0	So one of the trends I've seen in astrological circles is that a lot of people have been talking about how astrologers have been talking about some of these
2:04.4	major planetary alignments coming up for years, especially with some of the major outer planet alignments
2:10.0	like the Saturn Pluto conjunction, which went exact in January and is still very much in play and it's
2:16.6	interesting to see some of that stuff finally start to materialize and turn into like major world events right in front of our eyes?
