Summary

Gene and cohost Tim Swartz present Colin Saunders, author of "Triangular UFOs of the United Kingdom." About his book, he tells us: "In 1999 my family and I was fortunate to have a very close encounter with a Triangular craft not of this world. Since that date I have met so many people that have also had Triangle encounters that it seemed only logical to write a book, not only about my own experience, but to include these observations as well. The book covers over 130 first hand UK witness accounts of close encounters with Triangular craft, including missing time and men in black! What I soon realized from my own encounter and other witness statements is that there is a definite link between UFO’s and the paranormal. I have included a whole section about this phenomenon in the book which also touches on alien telepathy. As strange as it all may seem I believe this is just a science we do not understand." In his "civilian life," Saunders is a self-employed graphic designer. He has spent his whole working life as a Technical Design Draftsman and his skills earned him AutoCAD user of the year in 1992 while working at Courtaulds.

1:02.0	Now, before we get started, Colin, I'd first want to welcome you to the Paracast.
1:07.0	But we, in our forum back in 2007 set up a black triangles forum.
1:15.6	This was done by a guy named Tom Levine, who was no longer participating in the forum,
1:20.6	sorry to say, or at least I guess he's aware of us, but doesn't do it anymore.
1:25.6	But I thought here we'd look first at the consideration.
1:30.3	I assume when he said black triangles, he was meaning any triangles about UFOs.
1:38.3	Now before we get started, Colin, into the book, how did you get interested in chasing the flying saucers, as they say?
1:47.2	Well, it all came about by a close encounter with the triangle. Prior to the encounter, I'd got no
1:55.2	great interest in UFOs. I wasn't a member of any UFO societies or clubs or went to any conferences, for instance.
2:03.8	I have previously worked in the aircraft industry, so I'd obviously got an interest in aviation.
2:09.4	I worked in Germany and Sweden for quite a few years on different aircraft as an avionics design draftsman. So basically, I'll go through
2:21.0	what happened on the night, and that is what kicked off my interest in the triangular UFOs.
2:28.5	So basically, it was 1999, the 31st of March, 1999.
2:34.6	So tomorrow is the anniversary 24 years ago.
