to take a couple some ones who were there for it the first time around. Drew McQueenie

and Scott Weinberg are ready to review every major film of the decade one month at a time.

Sally Ride was announced as the first American woman astronaut.

The Atlanta Braves became the first team to ever win the first 12 games of a season.

The United States made a formal transfer the Canal Zone back to Panama and the trial of John W. Hinkley Jr., the man who shot Ronald Reagan, finally got underway.

Even so, we found some time for the movies of April 1982.

Hello, everybody out there in 80s All Overland.

You've got a movie showing up on Shudder pretty soon, don't you?

Yeah, you gave me it early plug. Yes, I co-produced and have a small role in a horror comedy called Found Footage 3D, which plays on Shudder, premiering on October 26th. It is a comedic horror film written and directed by my friend Stephen DeGenerro, and I had a great time making it, and a lot of people seem to like it. And that's that. One of my favorite things about what we're doing right now is that we're heading into one of my favorite stretches of the 80s.

And as I've been putting stacks of movies together and stuff for the next four or five months worth of episodes,

it's really delightful to have all of this stuff sitting around the house right now and to be watching it.
