This is kind of different from the usual episode of the Paracast, mostly because I'm getting up a lot earlier

than I usually get up as a matter of fact normally I get up around the hour we're recording

this which is six o'clock hours on the time or six 30 and therefore I had to spend the last hour

and a half whipping myself into wake up condition, exercising,

getting ready, and all that.

Of course, our guest this week comes from almost literally the other side of the world.

Ben Hurl, and he's in Australia.

So we had to kind of compromise to accommodate each other's time zones.

It's not like he can beam over.

We can beam to Australia, which is something I would be happy to do if I had the opportunity.

Yes, it's a lovely place over here, Jane, that's for sure.

But normally when we get a show started, Randall changes keyboards.

So on his PC, he has one of these old-fashioned, very noisy keyboards.

And I have what they call the Apple Magic keyboard, which is magic because it doesn't make much noise.
