There is nothing, nothing I hate more in sports than bitching about officiating.

Really?

The most rare cases are those where there is an egregious call that decides a game.

And when I say that decides a game an egregious call that decides a game. And when I say that decides a

game an egregious call, I mean, you know, you're missing offside by three feet and the guy

scores on the play. That's what I mean. This call, in my mind, was a bad call. It did not

decide the game. The Bruins still had the chance to kill the penalty. They didn't. They played like garbage at the beginning of the game. And so ultimately, to me, one of the nice things about sports is in most times, you get what you deserve. Most times. Did the Bruins get what they deserved? Yeah. Yep. In three games, they're down to one, and I would say Ottawa has been the better team in this series. So it's not over. That's the other thing that I have found kind of irritating here about the last, you know, 12 hours, whatever the hell it is, is that somehow like it's, you know, they're dead and buried and it's over, and I don't feel that way at all. because I don't think Otto was that great. I mean, the Bruins are in trouble, but I don't think it's over.

I think these things turn game to game I think that's how they go and maybe we've forgotten that but the bitching about the call I didn't like the call either it did not decide the game it did not decide the game the Bruins had the number one penalty killed in league coming in. What was Ottawa's power play? Oh, like 20 something. Okay. So, that's an advantage that should favor you. They allowed two for four on the power play last night. It was a one goal game decided in overtime. And if you want to go back to the previous game, I know there was a penalty there, too. Who are you going to blame that one on?

I mean, that one's on the Bruins entirely. And even that, you can say they killed the penalty, and they did, but effectively they didn't. So I would say again, so to me, in my mind, Otto has scored on three of the last five power plays against the best penalty killing unit in the league. You got nowhere to go. this one's on the Bruins.

I hated the call.

I'm not going to give it a pass like mas is a little bit i mean it was egregious it was uncalled for the way that that game had turned completely unnecessary um but still i don't see any moral victory in them coming back from down three oh the way that they did i'm not sitting here today feeling well you know they came back and considering the way that they've played in the first sitting here today feeling, well, you know, they came back,

and considering the way that they played in the first period,

no, like, I'm still pissed about that.

They're lucky to have even come back in that game, considering how they started it, and the fact that to me, the whole night, it felt like David Backus was really the only brewing that showed up. You still get nothing out of Brad Marshand for another game in this series.

So that's been unfortunately consistent.
