So we have a lot of news on the debt limit. So let's start it from the top.

Republican leaders are beginning to informally put together a debt limit package that they want to pass through the house at some point this month.

The idea here from McCarthy, Kevin McCarthy, the speaker, is that he wants to try to jumpstart

the debt limit process by passing something through the House. Now, will that work? I don't

know. The White House has not spoken to McCarthy since February 1st when he had his meeting with Joe Biden.

There's no back channel talks. I mean, there's, you know, very little contact between the two
