Coming up on Sword and Scale Daily, New York State Troopers performing a welfare check allegedly

found a murder suspect in the process of dismembering his victim's body.

The Buffalo News report that 52-year-old Philip Farron was arrested on Friday on suspicion

of murder.

Although New York State Police have not yet disclosed the identity of the victim, her family

members identified her as Philip's wife, Amber Farron.

New York State Police alleged that Farron was in the process of dismembering the victim's

body when Troopers arrived on the scene.

According to the police's statement, Troopers responded to a residence on whole Ridge Road

in Allen at approximately 12.30 p.m. on Friday after receiving a request to check Amber's

welfare.

They found the suspect at the scene and he told him that Amber had left the area.
